Historic Hilltop Barn, which has been called “Connecticut’s Architectural Cathedral,” is the perfect wedding venue for your unique and special day. But dates are limited. Built by Indian Motorcycle co-founder George Hendee as a gentleman’s retirement farm in 1914, Hilltop is owned and managed by an all-volunteer non-profit. Since 2002, we've renovated the 18700 sq. ft. dairy barn and a number of outbuildings. We've developed Hilltop into a vibrant learning center, operating year-round with summer camps, school group visits, yoga classes, seminars and special events such as bluegrass festivals and Indian Motorcycle Days. There are fun programs on farming, gardening, architecture, photography, history, nature, caring for the land and more.
