Oregonian Greg Spencer initially discovered the Blue Ridge area on a backpacking trip to the Cohutta Wilderness in the 1980’s. A short time later, enamored of the area, Greg embarked on a land purchasing mission that led him to 16 acres of undeveloped acreage. Amazed by the beauty of the Toccoa River and the inspiring views of the surrounding mountains, Greg wasted no time in securing what is now known as the Toccoa House Properties.
