The Chateau on the River is a beautiful wedding, shower, and special event venue located within the grounds of Elizabeth Park in Trenton, Michigan. The historic park was given to Wayne County by the Slocum Family in the 1920s. The Chateau is a scenic venue located on the Detroit River across from Grosse Isle. It is newly renovated and features granite bathrooms, a Riverview terrace, and cocktail and reception space adjacent to the Main Hall. The Main Hall has a capacity for 190 guests and features a state of the art A/V system including twin projectors and sound system that can be synced with any mobile device.
