The Emerald Woods is an almost 200-year old Greek Revival plantation house on almost 8 very private acres and is an exciting new venue in Western North Carolina hosting small personal retreats, weddings and private gatherings. Your host, Lilly Bakken, purchased the property in August of 2020 and since then has renovated and rehabbed the entire home and added multiple gardens with an abundance of flowering trees, hydrangea, lavender, dahlias and other flowering perennials as well as many seating areas. We are an ideal setting for small intimate gatherings including weddings, vow renewals, and elopements, etc.
