Garrett’s Place is a very special place for my family. In 2017 my oldest son Garrett was searching for a rustic venue to marry the love of his life. They looked at venues as far away as Columbus, Ohio, but everything they found that they liked was too expensive. I bought an old 1871 church 30 years ago and remodeled it into an antique mall that was open for 18 years. I then turned the church into a great woodworking shop, but since my son was looking for a place to have a very special wedding I suggested he consider our old church. My son loved the idea and got right to work on the remodel truly all by himself. I can’t begin to list all of the work he completed while working as a full time deputy sheriff.
