In 1869, the Levi Collner family constructed the barn which is now the Silver Fox Theater. In the summer of 1951, Levi’s granddaughter, Sarah, converted the barn into a summer stock barn theater that ran until 1981. It was known as the most successful summer stock barn theater in Western Pennsylvania. Fast forward to 2021, Sarah and Zach purchased the historic theater and property from Bill and Jameen who, after realizing the amazing history, wanted to offer it to others so they remodeled and reopened the barn’s doors in 2013 for weddings, receptions, and other events. Sarah and Zach look forward to continuing to offer the barn to those who are looking for a rustic, yet elegant venue to host their next event or special occasion!
