Established in the 1930's as the Mountain Home Cottages, Moon Shadow Haven on Johnson Creek is a little piece of Paradise in the Texas Hill Country located just 30 minutes west of Fredericksburg, and about an hour northwest of San Antonio in Mountain Home, Texas. The property boasts unlimited photo opportunities on its 17 acres. The venue itself is perched at the top of a bluff overlooking 1/3 mile of Johnson Creek lined with beautiful cypress trees. Weddings are held by the serene picturesque creek, or in the beautiful stone chapel boasting antique oak pews. Cocktail hour is perfect on the covered deck of the stunning reception lodge featuring outside bar, and the reception lodge is perfect for up to 300 guests. Onsite lodging available.
