The Bryan House

The 1909 winter farmhouse built by William Jennings Bryan (of Nebraska) in between his 3rd run for President & becoming Secretary of State. John Conwy the founder of Mission, Texas, convinced Bryan to purchase 160 acres in his newly created master community. Recently restored, it is now a museum, bed & breakfast & community event center for both private & public events. Events held are: boutique weddings, family reunions, historical tours, small parties, retreats, fundraisers, farmer’s/antiques/art&crafts markets, photo sessions & art exhibits.
